Machining Laboratory
Mastering production engineering from molds, the king of production engineering
Molds are indispensable for mass-produced industrial products, such as automobiles, airplanes, and home appliances. Our laboratory is conducting a multifaceted research on materials and skills in machining, machine tools, molding, computer-aided design (CAD), and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), all of which are necessary for making molds. Through our research, we aim to realize values, both in design and functionality, required to become a global leader in developing technologies for molds.
